:: what we're up to ::

Well, you don't really want to know what we're up to tonight. Let's just say that a little one who is sick to her tummy has been up MULTIPLE times. And sometimes she wasn't up when she should have been. ugh. So to get my mind off of reality, I will re-live with you what we have been doing recently.

 We've made it through the first 3 weeks of school. Phew, the rest should be easy compared to this, right?? Lol.
We're only just starting the early mornings, homework, programs, and more.

9th Grade, 6th Grade and 1st Grade. Wow. Where did the time go? Looking forward to a great year!!
 And this girl. She's in school full time now. Boo! I was definitely sad during that first week. Yes, I even cried a little. But she didn't-- she loves her teacher and all her friends. Happy to be at school learning.
All. Day. Long.

 With another year of school comes another year of lessons.....

...And more firsts! Chloe gets to start taking piano lessons. Oh man was she ever excited. We are so thankful for a wonderful and patient piano teacher for our girls. (Payton's piano teacher is wonderful and patient too, just not pictured here.)

 This year Payton decided to join the cross country team. There is quite a number of kids on this team! He has had such a great time so far. And what do you know-- he even found out that he isn't too bad of a runner, either!

This picture was taken during a race-- a rather BIG race. Out of about 200 freshmen boys P came in 45th! Pretty cool.

After the race...in his short shorts...sportin' a medal! Way to run it, Payton!

  1. I am so sorry to hear about the sickness! Craig isn't so sure the flu is better. Hopefully we will not get to compare them side by side. -Anna
